Rehab Costs
The total cost for treatment at Seabrook House is based upon a
5 week primary residential program followed by 90 days transitional living. Health insurance companies
will generally cover only 1-2 weeks of the program and then mandate transfer to an outpatient program. . This is a managed care decision that Seabrook House has no control over. Financial arrangements
must be made prior to admission. The average out of pocket expenses for most patients using their health insurance as a supplement, is approximately $12,875.00. Financial assistance may be available
through the Seabrook House Foundation. Seabrook House accepts wire transfers, most major credit cards and personal checks. Please inquire about the
Foundation requirements when speaking to an Admissions Counselor.

Please be aware that Seabrook House will not hold your insurance
company responsible for payment of services rendered. An insurance
policy is a contract between you and the insurance company. Full
payment is expected upon admission to any program unless prior arrangements
have been made. Financing is available. Incomplete or delayed financial
arrangements can postpone actual admission.
Please call us with further questions regarding services and the admission process. Our helpline staff is at your service at 1-800-761-7575, 24 hours a day. Of course, all inquiries are strictly confidential.
Insurance Benefits and Financial Responsibility
Please consult your Admissions Counselor for more information on
how to ensure that you or you loved one will be eligible for the
entire program. Insurance policies and benefits vary greatly. The
Seabrook House business office will help obtain any relevant information,
including a list of allowable benefits on a new patient's contract.
We contract with the patient upon admission, when the "Terms of
Admission" is signed. This obligates the patient to pay for services
rendered and to bring the agreed-upon fee when admitted.
Employers and insurance agents can also be helpful in answering questions
about benefits. Insurance or managed care companies may require concurrent
reviews of a patient's medical care during hospitalization. If medical
necessity is approved by the patient's insurance company, the certification
of days will be given a few days' stay at a time. Authorization does
not guarantee payment by an insurance company.
We will work with the patient's insurance company to provide the necessary information required in order to review for medical necessity, but it should be noted that Seabrook House has no control over the outcome of these reviews and such reviews do not guarantee payment by any insurance carrier upon final billing.
